Alfar was created in 2014 as a one-man project of Dmitry Pinchuk, the former
bassist of the epic Belarusian pagan metal band Wartha. In the same year, the band presented its debut album "Across the Northern Storms". In a year, the second LP
"Twilight of the Gods" was released on the SoundAge prod. label. At that time, Alfar
already had a full lineup ready for playing live.

Alfar был создан в 2014 году как one-man проект, сразу же выпустив дебютный полноформатный альбом "Across the Northern Storms". Через год на лейбле SoundAge prod. выходит второй альбом "Twilight of the Gods", на этот момент группа уже имеет сформированный состав и в конце 2015-го начинает концертную деятельность. В активе Alfar ряд выступлений в городах Беларуси, России, Литвы, тур по Украине. Стиль группы определяется как melodic death metal с влиянием viking metal. Тематика лирики посвящена скандинавской мифологии.
