This is a page for Debate Club held in English at Library Mayakovskovo twice a month on Sundays at 1PM. Information and announcements will be posted here. The goal of this club is NOT simply conversation. The goal is to strengthen your ability to formulate strong, logical, verbal arguments (which subsequently can be useful in conversation as well!) It is highly encouraged for participants to come having done some light research/reading about the topic and not simply with their own opinions. TO MAKE THIS GOAL EASIER, I will post light research here with the topic to help prepare members to take part in an interesting and active debate.
